My Top 3 Favourite Korean Dramas

With my mum being a real Korean drama fan (she buys at least one new Korean drama box set a month), I get to enjoy as well! And recently I watched a drama that has now helped me complete my list of top 3 favourite Korean dramas! First of all, let me share with you what are these top 3 dramas:

1) I love Kim Sam Soon

The very first Korean drama I watched which I loved for the unlikely heroine who was uncouth, not so slim yet with a kind and big heart and so very endearing! Although the man in question was a really suave Hyun Bin, how many of you do not deny rooting for her to get this man rather than the other seemingly more eligible gal?

2) Dalja’s Spring

I wrote about this drama in a previous post. I really liked it for its story about a career woman in her thirties wondering when her true love will appear. Really so different from the typical Korean drama plot line!

3) And my latest top favourite… Prosecutor Princess

I actually really disliked the main actress in the first few episodes of this drama cos she seemed so spoilt, annoying and basically living in the centre of her own little world. However, the mysterious male lead and his hidden motives piqued my interest and the injection of interesting crime cases got me watching on. I am glad to say that the drama turned out to be one of the best I have watched so far and I was really moved at the ending. It’s a nice little drama about growing as a person, love and forgiveness! Worth a watch!

I thought to also share a really awesome companion site you should visit if you are a fan of Korean dramas! Dramabeans has the latest news on Korean actors and actresses, the latest dramas playing on Korean TV plus most useful of all, detailed recaps of drama episodes (selected ones of course)! I will usually visit this site to check out the recaps of the drama episode I just watched, gain more insight into the story and characters and read the various comments of those who also watched the show. What’s more, you get to download some of the songs used in the soundtrack of the drama. Really rounds up the whole viewing experience!

Don't you just love Korean dramas? =D

Hi Pat, you should try watching one with English subtitles! They are lots of fun, especially the romantic comedies! :)
