Girls with Glasses

The same old problem has occurred again with a worse result this time round! Yes, it’s an eye infection, most likely due to aging contact lenses. I was honestly shocked when I looked at the mirror one sleepy Sunday morning. My left eye was completely swollen and though I have photos, I shall not cause distress to my blog readers! Sigh, I really should learn from my lesson!

So anyways, it is gonna take 3 weeks for me to get my new pair of contact lenses and I am once again advising myself to cut down on the use of my lenses and wear my glasses more often! But it’s so disheartening everytime I hear people say “Em, you look SO DIFFERENT wearing glasses!” Hmm… doesn’t sound good at all! So as a form of consolation, I googled some pics of famous people who are known to wear glasses yet look generally quite stylish. Perhaps it will convince me to wear my glasses more often and stop torturing my poor eyes!
