After hearing rave reviews of Seafood Paradise at Defu Lane from my bro-in-law and sis-in-law, we decided to have our birthday celebration for my sister over there! Thankfully we called in early and was able to get a table in the air-con section of the restaurant!

First up, yu sheng!
And the next moment? All gone!
I must say the yu sheng was very fresh and tasty! Definitely one of the better yu sheng I have tasted this year!
The next few dishes were highly recommended by Charles and Aileen and I must say, they’re right!! Really tasty!
The garlic smelled so good!
The coffee pork ribs were yum!! The coffee taste was strong yet more sweet than bitter! There is a backstory with regards to coffee pork ribs and I think I have finally redeemed my good name! =)
Salted egg prawns! Crispy and fragrant!
The tofu was alright only but when eaten together with the pork floss, it tasted so good!
Other than the food, the service was impeccable! My mum bought a small cake but missed out on the candle so we asked the restaurant if they had any! They not only managed to find us one, they even played the “Happy Birthday” song over the sound system in the whole restaurant! The other diners actually sang along! It was kinda fun and a surprise for my sis!
It was a great meal and a fun time for us all! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR SIS!
