Sweet-smelling Blessings

Recently my colleague, Jasmine, blessed me with a tube of Origins Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream. It smells really nice, when you first apply it, there's a very refreshing citrus smell. As your skin absorbs the cream, there's a faint ginger fragrance. It doesn't give a greasy feel but your skin feels really soft after application. Read what the Origins site says about the product:

"A relaxing sensation spreads all over you as tangy Ginger embraces your body while skin-nourishing Olive Oil, Grape Seed Oil, Rice Bran Oil and Apricot Kernel Oil invisibly surround weary, dreary skin in softness. All the while, citrusy-crisp scent of lush, lighthearted Lemon, Lime and Bergamot lifts listless spirits." Don't u feel like getting your hands on it already?

My mum also recently blessed me with a bottle of Paul Smith Rose perfume. I do like rose fragrances. Some people find it too 'girly' but I think when it is blended with other 'stronger' ingredients, it shows off its feminine edginess. I really like Stella McCartney Stella. It uses Rose, mixed with Amber, Mandarin and Peony Flower. It is a clear "contrast between the freshness and softness of the rose, and the dark sensuality of amber." I also bought The Body Shop's Cassis Rose. It is more fruity with raspberry and blackcurrant notes.

For Paul Smith Rose, it is infused with the actual Paul Smith Rose, a rose specially cultivated by Paul Smith's wife for his birthday. There are also touches of Turkish rose oil, green tea, violet and magnolia flowers. It smells airy and fresh.

Doesn't it feel great to smell great?
