With the help of my hubby, purchased a domain name from Namecheap.com. It costs around $15/year. So why the decision to buy my own domain? Actually I have been blogging for a long time, since I was around 20 years old. I started with Blogger, then moved to one hosted by a fren, then back to Blogger, then to Xanga, Multiply and back to Blogger once again. With all that moving around, posts written under one platform stayed with that platform and sometimes readers didn't move along. Thus, I decided that since I am quite serious about blogging, I should just purchase a domain name, so that if I move to another platform again, at least people know where to find me. So remember to update your links and keep supporting my blog! =)
