Carilyn's Wedding (Part 1)

Had many blog-able events this few months, such as saying bye to my beloved Aljunied Crescent home, moving house (finally!), getting the keys to my new place, reno preparation, gatherings and Carilyn's wedding. However, just never got down to blogging but have decided that when I am freer, will do some posting of older events. Basically, it's to keep a record of the things that have happened to me. Hopefully, once I catch up with all the older entries, I will start posting more regularly!

First up, we have Carilyn's wedding, the most recent event and thus, the easiest to blog about. It's really ironic in a way how my dearest sec sch fren, who declared at the tender age of 15 that she would never get married, would be the first of my group of sec sch frens actually getting properly married! Hee, so never say never...

We had a fun and exciting Hens' Nite on a yacht. We rode on the yacht onto the open sea and then berched at Pulau Hantu Besar. Btw, Pulau Hantu Besar means "Big Ghost Island". It was really dark but we definitely did not see anything strange excepts rats and bats (!!) Anyway, we were served a wonderful BBQ dinner that the crew cooked for us and then fun chit chatting away until.... the coast guards came! This coast guard came up to us, after spending a long time talking to the captain, and saying in all seriousness, "You need permission to stay on this island, you all can be arrested right now!" Woah! Thank goodness he was nice enough to let us finish our meal and stay for a while longer. It was indeed a memorable time!

Actually, I have not really heard of the concept of Hens' nite. Apparently it is a common practice in Western culture. I would definitely organise a Hens' nite for all my jie meis to have some fun together and plot the sabo for the brothers!!

Talking about sabos... I will elaborate about that in my next post.. now it's time to sleep!
